Katy niemeyer.

Originally from Alexandria, Minnesota. Graduated Suma Cum Lauda from Minnesota State University in Moorhead with a B.A in Theatre Arts with both an acting and technology/design emphasis. Minored in Entertainment Business.
Through out the last 10 years Katy has worked and participated on productions, ranging from Acting, Designing, Stage Management to Directing. In the past Katy has earned her MN license in Aesthetics, giving her an edge when it comes to professionally designing and meeting clients individual needs for makeup in the theatre.

The last few years Katy has worked at a variety of venues and organizations. Such as the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, Fire Pit Productions, Gooseberry Park Players, West Fargo Events and the Andria Theatre. Her main area in the theatre is costuming, hair and makeup design. Katy’s most noted designs were for She kills Monsters, Seussical the Musical, Hairspray and Beauty and the Beast.
In the spring of 2023, Katy has co-founded a non-profit production company in Alexandria. She currently serves the board as their Vice President and as a Artistic Coordinator.
